Uk Forced To Take Back Muslim Detained For Terror Plot In Iraq

The number held dropped from 86 to three while attacks fell 90 per cent since last summer, when Hilal al-Jedda says the deal was reached with cleric Moqtada al-Sadrs Mahdi Army. Another story clarifies a bit more of what went on. A phased release of Iraqi detainees held by the British army, including members of the Mahdi army militia, is expected to be stepped up next week as part of a reconciliation process that Britain hopes will pave the way for an orderly withdrawal from southern Iraq. One detainee, Hilal al-Jedda, has been separated from the rest after speaking to his British lawyer, Phil Shiner, about back-channel talks. Mr Shiner said yesterday that Mr Jedda was being punished for revealing details of the talks rather than being separated for his own safety. So it looks like Hilal al-Jedda may have been a Sadrist who got freed as part of the UKs dirty deals with them. He scored 50K out of the deal and now wants to go back to living the welfare life with his wives and children in the UK. Zagat Tragonach I would like to read more about the details of this case, but I dont see any outcome documents at the Courts site. As a helpful suggestion for a place to repatriate him and his brood, perhaps the British portion of Antarctica (if they still have it)? Or how about littoral waters of Great Britain? Im betting the judgement doesnt specify that he has to be returned to an area of national territory topped off with land, so an address a few kilometers of the Hebrides would do just fine.

Nintendo UK: Lack of consumer understanding the reason for Wii U sales issues

‘Pokémon X’ and ‘Pokémon Y’ available on Nintendo eShop, download size details

In an interview with MCV-UK , Nintendo UK marketing head Shelly Pearce said there were misconceptions about what the Wii U is when it launched last November, especially in marketing to mothers that the machine is indeed a new console and a new controller. In terms of the marketing work weve done against dads, there is now a pretty good understanding there, Pearce said. But many moms dont know what this is. Theyre buying what theyre advised to and going into shops, so we are relying a lot on retail to explain that this is a new piece of hardware. Pearce said the messaging issue has been the biggest hurdle for the Wii U, but Nintendo is encouraged by the fact that the Wii is still the format of choice for some households and is the No. 1 console for brand awareness in the UK. Late last month Nintendo revealed that it would using a media blitz to target customers who purchased a Wii through British retailer Tesco essentially the UK version of Walmart informing them about the Wii U. You can read that full Examiner report here. Through the insight from the Tesco deal that we know families are still playing and have not bought anything else yet. So its a great opportunity if we can get the job right in educating people, Pearce said. Pearce said she doesnt really believe price has been the underlying issue of the slow Wii U sales, and that this upcoming peak consumer season Nintendo should have an value advantage. Wii U will be at a slightly lower price than last year and comparatively it will look a little cheaper because of all the other consoles coming out that are more expensive, Pearce said. But value is the important message. Backwards compatibility, the fact that you dont have to buy more controllers that for a mom is a very important thing.a
